Dr. Daniel N. Owunwanne is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems & Supply Chain Management. His primary research interests include data interoperability in federated distributed database systems, software implemented fault tolerance, error detection in data transmission, and cloud computing.
The course provides a systematic approach to analysis and design of contemporary business information
systems. Topics include Systems Development Life-cycle (SDLC) phases and activities, systems
analysis techniques, systems design techniques, detail program design and implementation. For the final project, students will be grouped in teams to analyze, design, and implement a system using the concept of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
