CONNECTING

THE WORLD TO

THE CLASSROOM

MISSION
Prepare students to make a difference in the real-world.

We connect college classrooms with real-world projects. Below are some of the project areas that students are solving today through collaboration with some of the world's top companies, government agencies, and nonprofits. Together, we empower the leaders of tomorrow to grow by solving the challenges of today.

Growing healthy
food at scale.
Commercializing space technology to move humanity forward.
Driving sustainable consumption through
retail innovation.
ImpactEd projects are being taught by educators at pioneering universities.
OUR MODEL
Our approach is focused on enabling educators, students, and partners to find success.

Before developing ImpactEd, we spent two years meeting with educators, students, and real-world organizations across six continents. In the process, we learned about the needs of higher education and the workforce. This ultimately led us to design a system that enables universities to bring their existing learning practices into the 21st century.

OUR STORY
ImpactEd was started by a college student who imagined a better way
to learn in the 21st century.

When Austin Halbert was a junior in college, he felt a disconnect between his learning in the classroom and his success in the real-world. This story is not unique. There are 100 million university students around the world who spend four years studying and solving theoretical problems, while facing uncertainty about their ability to think critically and solve problems in the their careers.

ImpactEd makes it easy for educators to modernize their classrooms, and connects students with the real-world learning experiences they need to find early career success. As a team of recent colleges, we keep students at the top of mind with every move we make.
